Travel/Local LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

We're seeking experienced Travel and / or Local (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurses for a 13-week contract assignment ( local or travel, with the probability of extending ) in various locations in Pittsburgh, PA for DAY SHIFT.

Nights Shifts available. Hourly rates vary depending on Specialty

Qualifications :

• At least 2 years of recent LPN LTC, and / or Hospital experience for the specialty you are applying for
• A current PA LPN License
• Current BLS, and / or Specialty Certifications

Responsibilities :

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
• Assist with patient examinations and procedures
• Provide wound care, including dressing changes and suture removal
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately and timely

Requirements :

• Valid LPN license in the state of practice (PA)
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules

PAY : $33.00 to 41.50 Hourly depending whether you are travel or local.

Additional Requirements :

• 2 current professional references
• Able to pass background / urine drug screening
• Basic computer skills
• Professional, friendly attitude
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff
