Asbestos Associate Attorney

Position : Experienced Associate Attorney - Asbestos Practice Group

Location : California (Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage both local and national accounts across California.
• Independently handle a litigation caseload from start to finish.
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
• Review, analyze, and respond to discovery requests.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents; experience with e-filing is essential.
• Provide trial preparation and support.
• Maintain accurate and detailed time records.

Candidate Requirements :

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following areas : complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in California.
• Proven experience in motion practice and conducting depositions.
• Demonstrated ability to take the lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
• Strong ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Superior research and writing abilities.
• Competence in analyzing and addressing complex legal issues.
