About The Position
Job Title : CT Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (06 : 30 - 15 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Will apply after the first call off per pay period Experience : Minimum 2 years required;
First-timers not accepted License : Valid Florida license or compact license required Certifications : - BLS (Basic Life Support)- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)- ARRT Advanced Certification Must-Have : - Experience with GE and Siemens equipment- Proficiency with PACS, contrast, and biopsy skills- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, adult ICU, and community hospital settings- Cerner EMR experience- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted) Job Description : Work with a high volume department in a comprehensive stroke hospital.
- Handle a variety of cases, including all neuro procedures such as perfusions, TAVR, CTA, biopsy procedures (lung, kidney), cryoablations, drainages, chest tubes, and venous mapping.
- Department has 3 rooms in a 600 bed facility with high acuity and geriatric demographics.- Utilize Cerner for charting and adhere to the hospital's scrub color policy (Navy Blue, Burgundy, or Khaki).
- Participate in ongoing weekend requirements and block scheduling, as discussed during interviews.- Abide by the facility's smoke-free policy.
Additional Information : It is a short-term acute care and teaching hospital.- Specific compliance documents are due ten days before the start.
4-6 hours of module training included.- Pass / Fail EKG exam with up to three attempts.
