As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities :

Protecting property : Patrol the property, secure buildings, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors

Monitoring : Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access points

Responding to incidents : Respond to emergencies, investigate incidents, and take appropriate action

Controlling access : Control the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles

Completing reports : Record observations, information, and incidents in daily reports

Enforcing laws : Enforce laws and ensure compliance with government regulations

Performing other duties : Perform security checks, direct traffic, escort visitors, and perform first aid

DL required

Guard Shack, access control, yard management

Incident report writing

Actively monitor the metal detector during all shift changes and lunch and break periods to ensure that metal

detector procedures are followed by all team members. Enforce metal detector procedures for all visitors entering the distribution center.

Lead and respond to emergency situations; including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and / or property.

Investigate incidents that may potentially compromise the safety and security of Sentry associates and our property. Maintain and provide daily security activity reports.

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements :

Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements

Walk / Stand for Long Periods of Time

Work Outside in the Elements

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
• CPR Certification
• Customer Service Experience
• Stand for Long Periods of Time
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
