As a Senior Engineer, you will be joining one of the largest Electric Utility players in the country as they upgrade and modernize their electric grid to handle future state striving toward net zero carbon.
In this role, you will be joining a newly formed group that will be collaborating cross-functionally to ensure protection & design for viper reclosers through your support in protection, planning, & design.

Required Skills :
- Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of experience in protection or planning & design engineering
- Strong understanding of utility processes, overhead standards, and relays
- Working experience with schematics, wiring diagrams, short-circuit modeling and software’s correlated to necessary work
- Experience with design software (ESRI Design)
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) :
- Review substation relay resets from a protection Lense
- Conduct short-circuit analysis & review schematics for designs
- Document protection highlights in a relay database
- Review & approve planning & design packages (material lists, detailed designs, assure permits)
- Make necessary changes to planning & design packages (ESRI Design, RITM Ticket)
