Summary

  • Dispatch and Schedule : Receive incoming service requests via phone, email, or other communication channels. Dispatching and managing approximately 60 calls a day while dispatching 15-25 Technicians.
  • Schedule service appointments and dispatch field service technicians to customer locations.
  • Prioritize service requests based on urgency, location, and technician availability.
  • Monitor technician availability and workload to optimize efficiency.
  • Coordinate all subcontractors required for large scale jobs such as jobs requiring Crane Lifts and / or Temporary Cooling and Refrigeration.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm service appointments, provide updates on technician arrival times, and gather essential information for the service call.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, including customer information, service details, and technician notes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience / Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 Years experience in HVAC and Refrigeration service dispatching or related role is required.

  • Basic understanding of construction or mechanical systems (HVAC, Refrigeration, and Plumbing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; highly proficient in Microsoft Office and data tools.
  • Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • High integrity, discretion, and professional judgment in handling confidential matters.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Flexibility to work evenings if necessary.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to assist the department in achieving its goals.
