Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM, 3x11.50 Hr Shifts
Guaranteed Hours : 37.50 Hours per Week
Experience :
- Minimum of two years of experience in the following areas :
- Scrub and circulating
- IV insertion and phlebotomy
- Conscious sedation
License : New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification
Certifications :
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- IV / Phlebotomy experience
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Must-Have :
- Proficiency in cardiology
- Experience as a phlebotomist
Job Description :
- Perform scrub and circulating duties in the operating room
- Insert IVs and conduct phlebotomy efficiently
- Administer conscious sedation as required
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver quality patient care
- Document all patient encounters and interventions accurately
- Provide patient education and support pre- and post-operatively
