Job Summary :

• Accountable for projects assigned including the planning, design and production of the electrical engineering components.
• Maintaining successful client relationships.
• You will rely upon your high level of engineering judgment and experience in developing the appropriate quality engineering solutions, coordinates the activities of other team members and assists in production as needed to meet schedules.
• Responsible for coordinating efforts between disciplines and working as a team player.
• Participate in the firm's marketing effort.
• Supervise the tasks and methods used by other personnel assigned to the project.
• Work as a fully competent designer in all conventional aspects of the subject matter.
• Possess a broad knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and a good knowledge of related specialties.
• Possess communication skills
• Conduct work requiring professional judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Plan and produce the engineering aspects of reports, design and construction projects.
• Work assignments may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, and difficult coordination requirements.
• It is expected that PE registration shall be actively pursued and obtained within 5 years.
• The Engineer reports directly to the Electrical Group Leader

Qualifications :

• Education : BS in Electrical Engineering preferred but not required
• A minimum of 8 years experience in consulting engineering
• EIT or PE preferred but not required

Location : Portland, ME (Hybrid)

Travel : 10%
