Your Role : Inpatient Physical Therapist

We are excited to offer a per diem Inpatient Physical Therapist position with a convenient day shift schedule. In this dynamic role, you will :

  • Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy modalities as prescribed by licensed physicians.
  • Assist patients in reaching their maximum performance and functioning levels.
  • Coordinate and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff.
  • Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
  • Ensure accurate patient charges and timely entries.
  • Engage in infection control and safety programs.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and evaluate treatment effects, recommending changes to physicians as needed.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments on all patient demographics, including neonates to geriatrics.
  • Assess and address patient pain to optimize rehabilitation participation.
  • Formulate and evaluate teaching plans based on identified learning needs, involving families as appropriate.

    • Qualifications

  • Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
  • Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy (preferred).
  • Current BLS certification.
