Inside Account Executive, CAD & RMS
Your Impact :
Your role is to augment the existing Inside Account Executives selling our core products, lead the qualifying / discovery efforts of complex procurement of CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch), RMS (Records Management System) and Use of Force / Internal Affairs software, and be a thought leader for Axon softwares.
You are responsible for assisting with and leading pre-sales discovery, value building, and qualifying potential partnerships as your sales partners are selling our products and services to Public Safety Agencies.
Your ability to think creatively, collaborate with internal partners, articulate complex solutions, uncover latent pain, build and maintain senior and end user level relationships, and connect with agency stakeholders will be key to your success.

Location : Remotely from the United States in the Central or Western Region, and able to travel 25-50% of the time.
Reports to : Sr. Director of Sales
Your Day-to-Day :
- Work with existing Axon Account Executives to craft bundled or staggered sales strategies that maximizes Axon’s solutions footprint at each agency
- Manage your defined territory by building pipelines, closing new deals, and continuously learning and understanding what problems Axon can help agencies solve in the CAD / RMS space
- Work with internal and external partners to establish relationships and help influence the Dispatch and Records products that Axon is building
- Develop and maintain client and partner relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
- Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads or accounts to start the sales process with the collaboration of the core Account Executive
- Maintaining and expanding the CRM (Salesforce) with prospects, accounts and additional contacts.
- Outbound and inbound account management
- Providing effective product demos for end-user customers via phone and web conferencing.
- Own and build relationships with regional and national trade organizations such as NENA, APCO, and IACP
- Accountable for individual expense budget management
What You Bring :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
- 2-3+ years’ experience in a full cycle Sales role
- 2-3+ years of customer facing sales experience
- Salesforce of equivalent CRM experience
- Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Preferred : Experience selling SaaS, especially CAD and RMS, into Law Enforcement Agencies

The Pay : The compensation for this role is made up of an uncapped commissions and a starting base pay between USD in the lowest geographic market and USD in the highest geographic market.
On average, the national commissions target for this role is USD ,. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as : experience, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic market demands and often a combination of all these factors.
