Overview
Seminole Classic Casino pioneered Indian gaming when it opened as the country’s first large stakes bingo hall in 1979, eventually expanding with gaming machines and poker.

Responsibilities
- Promotes an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality at all times.
- Provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees and the company.
- Ensures that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complex.
- Patrols the casino areas to establish a security presence and reports all unusual situations and / or suspicious persons.
- Completes all required checklists for inventory and inspections of supplies and equipment.
- Notifies a Supervisor of any problems with equipment and / or supplies and makes note of supplies that require replenishing.
- Replaces supplies as necessary and reports missing supplies to a Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Regularly required to stand or walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Position required bending, lifting and carrying supplies and equipment up to 25 lbs
CLOSING :
The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements.
Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended.
