Frattallone's Hardware and Garden Center Assistant Store Managers
As an Assistant Manager, you will be supporting the Store Manager by directing and leading your team to maintain our long-lasting customer relationships.
Ensure that our Sales Associates provide exceptional customer service. We are looking for someone who can teach associates product knowledge, listen to questions, and help them understand the 'whats' and 'whys' of their inquiries.
Teach Sales Associates the meaning of 'building and driving sales' so they can excel in their roles. Assist the Store Manager with opening, closing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
Build and maintain a positive, energetic work environment so that your team will strive for the same.
A Successful Assistant Store Manager will :
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Manage with limited supervision.
- Provide good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and other associates.
- Understand and interpret data presented in statistical or numerical form and use it effectively in assessing and coordinating merchandise and operational aspects of the store operations, in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Be detail-oriented, handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs.
handle large odd-shaped items, and stock items in overhead areas.
Work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
