We are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor at the CPA level to assist our company in preparing for an upcoming audit. This is a temporary role that requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in financial auditing, advanced proficiency in Excel, and strong knowledge of QuickBooks.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and have a deep understanding of audit preparation processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial documentation and information for the audit process.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to create complex financial models, pivot tables, and data analysis reports.
- Perform in-depth analysis of financial records and transactions using QuickBooks to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Identify potential areas of risk and provide recommendations to mitigate issues before the audit.
- Ensure all audit schedules and supporting documentation are accurate and complete.
- Assist with any ad hoc financial reporting or analysis as needed during the audit preparation period.
Qualifications :
- Certified Public Accountant ( CPA ) certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably at a senior level.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel , including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
- Strong experience with QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams.
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in auditing
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
- Must have experience with Audit Program
- Familiarity with CaseWare is essential
- Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is necessary
- Knowledge of CobiT is a must
- Must have experience with Accounting Functions
- Experience with Audit Engagements is required
- Must have the ability to report and present Audit Findings
- Must be skilled in creating and implementing Audit Plans
