Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the organization's accounting functions.

The Senior Accountant supports these processes for the global organization, which includes the US, UK, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Australia and Brazil.

This position is required to partner with all levels / disciplines within the organization so excellent verbal / written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are a must.

The selected individual must work well with others and be dependable, self-motivating, organized, and detail-oriented.

What Will You Be Involved With?

• Month-end reporting, including preparing accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Manage controls and activity for all global cash accounts.
• Manage day-to-day activities, including review of bank and accounts payable transactions.
• Maintain office lease schedules and ROU assets and liabilities in compliance with ASC 842.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies.
• Prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Coordinate and lead annual global audits.
• Provide input and recommendations for process improvement within the department.
• Streamline the month-end close process by developing processes and procedures to make it more efficient while maintaining completeness and accuracy.

What Will You Bring to the Table?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA, 5-7 years of industry work experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Netsuite.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets are desired.
• Expert in Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, initiates and completes tasks with limited supervision.
• Seeks out solutions to problems through research and ingenuity.
• Exceptional organizational and follow-through abilities.
• Ability to successfully manage and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to work in a matrix reporting environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment while establishing and building relationships with outside departments.
