Job Title : Local Route Delivery Driver

Job Summary :
We are seeking a full-time Local Route Delivery Driver to ensure timely and accurate delivery of our baked goods to various locations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong sense of customer service, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and delivery accuracy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Load delivery vehicle with bakery products, ensuring all items are properly secured for transport.
- Deliver bread and other baked goods to local businesses, restaurants, and other customers according to a set delivery schedule.
- Unload products at each delivery location and obtain customer signatures for deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer concerns or questions professionally and courteously.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition; schedule maintenance and repairs when necessary
- Follow all safety and traffic regulations to ensure a safe delivery process.
- Assist in the bakery with other duties as needed, including helping with packaging or production.
Qualifications :
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in delivery driving preferred.
- Familiarity with the local area and ability to navigate efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods.
- Capacity to handle the physical demands of loading and unloading products.
Working Hours :
- Full-time position, typically 32+ hours per week (Tuesday-Friday 4AM-12PM)
- Schedule may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays depending on delivery needs.
