  • Salary : The hiring salary for the Information & Technology Services (I&TS) Project Coordinator is starting at $99,629.

00 annually. The full pay range for I&TS Project Coordinator is $85,153.00 - $136,245.00 annually.

About the Job :

The Information & Technology Services department is seeking an Information Technology Project Coordinator who excels in collaboration with stakeholders while prioritizing customer service.

The selected candidate will have a solid understanding of information technology systems and will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and develop multiple projects.

What You’ll Do :

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders; serve as a central point of contact for assigned infrastructure and application projects and tasks.
  • Review and monitor the tasks and activities of projects assigned to staff, consultants, and / or contractors work relating to assigned infrastructure and application projects;

identify areas of non-compliance.

  • Develop and present multi-disciplinary reports and data; recommend and implement processes, procedures, and practices for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and enhanced levels of customer service.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope; review deliverables; ensure completion of projects on schedule and within budget;

prepare reports and make presentations to management.

Formulate and monitor project performance metrics; participate in project closeout activities; communicate project outcomes to management and staff, and complete other duties as assigned.

  • Project Coordination : Ability to prioritize deadlines, tasks and work as appropriate to ensure successful completion of various projects.

Accurately assesses project scope, budget, and timeline by determining required process steps and resources needed to achieve defined outcomes and objectives.

Relationship & Interpersonal Skills : Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Cultivates interpersonal rapport and trust, both up and down, by exhibiting consistency and reliability; demonstrates awareness of others’ needs.

  • Judgement & Decision Making : Ability to use appropriate judgement and confidentiality in selecting procedures, conducting transactions with other departments, vendors, and the public, and solving non-routine problems based on experience-based knowledge.
  • Influence : Communicates and writes proficiently to gain others’ support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions;

articulates clear rationale in discussion of the benefits and drawbacks of various options, is assertive while exhibiting flexibility.

  • Integrity : Exercises diplomacy and discretion in dealing with highly sensitive, complex, and confidential issues and situations.
  • Leveraging Technology : Effectively uses and generates information electronically to integrate technology solutions and systems.

The Experience You Need to Have :

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a closely related field.
  • Two years of information technology project coordination experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education, Certification, and Licenses :

  • Master’s degree in information technology, project management or a closely related field.
  • Project Management Institute, Scrum, or Six Sigma certifications.
