Description
Director will establish the tactics, actions, and metrics and enable strategic direction to improve the customer experience.
Identify and implement performance targets to meet product and customer requirements. Key metrics include performance of key Supplier Quality processes, process compliance, product performance and results.
Set targets and action plans to continuously improve Design Quality Engineering processes and performance.
- Plans, defines, monitors and improves quality goals and objectives. Monitors product quality through supplier performance, audits, first pass yield, customer feedback, inspection, cost of non-quality analysis and customer score cards.
- Designs, and implements alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing market expectations and opportunities.
- Assists in the development of short term and long-term quality goals and objectives of the Quality team aligned with Axcelis goals and objectives.
- Performs and coordinates the root cause failure analysis related to customer quality issues and effectively communicates resolution to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Leads and participate in Quality improvement, continuous improvement, lean, on daily basis.
- Leads a team of Quality Engineers on a day-to-day basis, develops team and enables eam to be successful every-day.
- Manages and improves key Quality processes to ensures process effectiveness and efficiency, takes both strategic and tactical approach through continuous improvement.
