About The Position
Specialty : Gastroenterology
Location : Oxford, MS
Reason For Coverage : Additional Coverage Needed, lost the GI group
Dates : Flexible schedule; they would like blocks of coverage, ongoing. Start ASAP
Shift & Call Details : 8 hours on-site during the day, Call coverage the remainder of the time
Credentialing Timeframe : Can grant emergency temp privs
Job Details :
- Setting : Inpatient,
- GI transfers from the emergency department, along with patients that walk in during the day with GI issues, as well as coverage for hospitalist consults for inpatient services
- Patient Volume : 3 emergency procedures / week and 4 consults / day
- ERCP / EUS not required, but preferred
- No APP support
- EMR : Epic
- Client Requirements : Must be Board Certified
- All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
