Boynton Financial Group (BFG) was established in 1997 by husband and wife, Ben and Joanna Boynton. Located in Wellington, Florida, we are an independent RIA Hybrid Branch office of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc.

We provide concierge-level comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to high-net-worth individuals.

Our Team is proud to be amongst the top 5% of all independent offices within Raymond James Financial Services in fiscal year 2023 based on assets under management.

Description of Position

Boynton Financial Group is seeking a Relationship Manager to work directly with the Advisors, the Team, and BFG clients to offer comprehensive wealth management.

The ideal candidate is an individual who is detail oriented, resourceful, seeks intellectual challenges, desires to develop long-term relationships and wants an opportunity to grow with a successful wealth management team.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree, Accounting or Finance major preferred
  • Series 7 and 66 license required; CFP, CPA, CFA or JD is a plus
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience providing investment or financial / tax planning services or a strong financial background or education
  • Mature knowledge of financial markets and traditional investment vehicles (e.g., stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Microsoft Office products desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Clean background and credit check

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the investment review process for discretionary model portfolios
  • Develop investment recommendations
  • Portfolio rebalancing and trading activities
  • Manage fixed income maturities / calls, corporate actions, etc.
  • Communicate and manage the firm’s investment philosophy, market views and portfolios to clients and Team
  • Client relationship management, including pre-meeting and post-meeting management
  • Interface with clients about the markets and their portfolios during outreach initiatives
  • Assist with the review and development of estate plans for clients
  • Collaboration and open communication with the Team
