ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :
NYC Department of Education licensed and appointed teachers
SELECTION CRITERIA :
- At least one (1) year of satisfactory (Highly Effective / Effective) experience within the NYCDOE
- Strong attendance record
- Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative member of a team on projects
- Interest in engaging in cycles of learning
- Experience working in / facilitating teacher teams
- Experience engaging in collaborative inquiry
- Experience serving in teacher leader roles preferred
- Commitment to attending all professional learning sessions and engaging in bridge to practice activities between sessions
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
Per session personnel will perform one or more of the following tasks under the direction of the appropriate supervisor :
- Attendance at required professional learning workshops and coaching sessions
- Communication with Central-based facilitators via email, phone, and in-person as necessary
- Active participation in activities connected to the Continuous Learning Program
- Collaborate with the Continuous Learning team in planning for the CL professional learning sessions
- Collaborate with the Continuous Learning team in developing resources
- Participate in focus group / feedback sessions
WORK SCHEDULE :
September 2024 June 2025
Monday-Friday. Weekend work may be subject to approval .
HOURS UP TO 36, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF HOURS LISTED. ADDITIONAL HOURS GRANTED UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE HIRING MANAGER.
SALARY :
Per Session rates as per the relevant union / organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent upon funding availability and programmatic approval.
