About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1925 To $2138 Job Title : Surgical Technician Job Specialty : Technician - Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour night shifts, rotating day / night shifts (may be within the same week) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week, except for orientation week Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : Not specified Certifications : Must comply with flu / COVID vaccination requirements, with consideration for medical / religious exemptions Must-Have : - Ability to report on-call within 30 minutes- Flexibility to work every other weekend- Willingness to float to various areas as required Job Description : Conduct surgical procedures and maintain operating room standards- Work collaboratively with other surgical staff- Ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for procedures- Participate in pre-surgery preparations and post-surgery clean-up- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocol- Display competence in the handling and use of surgical instruments- Navigate fast-paced environments while maintaining patient safety Additional Notes : Candidates must wear navy blue scrubs- Offers must be accepted or declined within 48 hours, with no alterations in time off once accepted- Floating to various units may be required multiple times during a shift, depending on needs
