We are looking for a Tax Staff - Public to join our team in DALLAS, Texas. The primary function of this role is to handle various tax-related tasks in a well-organized and detail-oriented manner.
The position is based in the public sector and includes responsibilities such as processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately process customer credit applications
- Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
- Address and resolve customer credit inquiries promptly
- Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
- Utilize various software such as CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, Gosystem, and Microsoft Excel to perform accounting functions
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and standards
- Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions
- Perform auditing tasks as needed
- Manage cash activity effectively
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
