Summary

We are innovating high-performance analog / digital, RF semiconductors, Acoustic Filters and integrating ultra dense System-in-Package (SiP) solutions that will be powering the next communication transformation.

Together, we will build the next generation of wireless platforms focused on enabling the Automotive Industry, Cellular Infrastructure, Smart Homes / Smart Cities through IoT, and the new AI / ML genre.

Position Available at Multiple Skyworks Locations : San Jose, CA (preferred), Woburn or Andover, MA; Irvine, CA

We are seeking engineering talent with expertise in analysis, design, and development of Analog integrated circuits using BiCMOS, SOI, and CMOS technologies and delivery of complex multichip, multi-technology RFIC-based wireless module solutions.

In the Module Design Team, you will be participating in developing cutting-edge, state-of-the-art PA, RF switches, LNAs and front-end modules for Automotive and IoT applications to enable the industry transformation to next generation super data highway.

Job Responsibilities

  • Block level circuit design, develop, verify, and productize analog / mixed-signal design in module solutions
  • Functional level planning, design, execution, and tape-out schedule management
  • Management of design trade-offs in cost, risk, and performance
  • Guide activities across multiple functions, such as layout, verification, test, and manufacturing

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated capability of production delivery.
  • Good simulation skills in Cadence including PEX, Monte Carlo, and Corner analysis.
  • Knowledge in standard analog cell design including bandgaps, op-amps, power detectors, regulators, precision current sources, basic logic synthesis.
  • Exposure to best analog layout practices in Cadence Virtuoso
  • Additional, preferred skills :
  • SOI technology & design
  • Exposure to 802.11 WiFi, 3GPP 4G / 5G / 6G, and mmWave product requirements
  • Mixed signal and digital integration experience
  • MSEE + 8-10 years experience or PhD + 6 years

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $74,800 - $135,400 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.

Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick / wellness, parental leave), among others.
