Our client is locally owned and operated and has grown into a regional and national industrial equipment supplier. They provide a combination of value-added technical services, engineering, consultation, and quality products to a variety of markets.
They provide mission-critical equipment to a wide variety of industries.
Summary
Responsible for opening the switchboard daily, directing calls, greeting visitors,
providing sales and accounting support and handling literature duties.
Duties
- Operate the switchboard in a professional manner.
- Greet visitors and direct phone calls to appropriate company personnel.
- Prepare daily outgoing mail and open incoming mail.
- Certificate of Insurance ordering and processing
- Perform various clerical duties including but not limited to : burst, match and distribute daily customer invoices, type sales introduction letters, enter daily record cards, compile KNW bookings report, filing and update KNW user list.
- Stock and organize sales literature and service manuals
- Prepare literature orders for distributors
- Coordinate literature revisions due for reprinting
- Inventory literature in warehouse on a quarterly basis and reorder in a timely manner
- Support all branch locations and regional sales managers with required literature.
- Compile sales binders for presentations and assemble new distributor kits
- Order lunches for meetings and maintain daily conference room schedule.
- Assist accounting department with cash receipts and other A / R duties.
Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Professional telephone ability required to handle 12 incoming lines
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented; strong organization skills
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner
Shift : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with occasional OT
Pay : Up to $22 / hr for well qualified candidates
