A managed service provider is looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to help with a government project for one of their clients based in San Diego.
This individual will be tasks with overseeing the analysis and implementation of an important system. This will involve working with stakeholders, researching possible solutions, analyzing requirements, estimating cost, and planning the actual implementation.
This individual needs to live within a two hour proximity to San Diego although a lot of the work can be done remotely.
Contract Duration : 6 months before conversion
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in project management and business analysis, preferably in a government or municipal setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in conducting research and benchmarking activities.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience working with Jira for user story management
- Experience working with Smartsheet or MS Project
Desired Skills & Experience
Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) and transportation management systems is a plus.
