JOB SUMMARY :
Transcribing Pathology reports from transcription software into PC. Duties require knowledge of medical terminology, Pathology preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Education / Specialized Training / Licensure : H.S. Diploma or GED; completion of Medical Terminology course.
2. Work Experience (Years and Area) : 1 year medical transcription experience
3. Equipment Operated : PC

CRT, Dictation / Transcription, Medical Terms, Typing (55 wpm), PC
3. Advanced Education :
Advanced Training / Specialty : Supplemental business courses preferred.
4. Work Schedule : Weekdays
5. Other Requirements : Ability to consistently demonstrate a transcribing speed of 55 WPM on a word processor using complex medical terminology.
