Personal Injury Attorney
We are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join our team at Heuser and Heuser, LLP in Colorado Springs, CO, US. In this role, you will be responsible for aiding clients who have suffered injuries from auto accidents, slips and falls, and dog bites.
Your support will be crucial in guiding them through their legal cases to restore health and hope.
This position is ideal for a law student or recent graduate who may have limited or no prior experience in personal injury, as we are dedicated to training and mentoring to help establish a solid foundation in the legal field.

Compensation : $80,000 + bonus BOE

Responsibilities :
- Attend initial meetings with new clients, gathering relevant information and actively listening to their stories and concerns
- Evaluate personal injury cases in collaboration with senior attorneys, assessing liability, damages, and potential legal theories
- Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to support the development of effective legal strategies
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on their cases, addressing inquiries, and offering support during their recovery
- Review demand letters and negotiate with insurance companies to secure favorable settlements for clients
- Collaborate closely with experienced attorneys, actively learning and developing legal skills while contributing to the overall success of the firm
- Take on a leadership role by supervising and mentoring a team of legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Provide guidance, training, and feedback to enhance the performance of team members
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctorate
- Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado or be willing to become licensed in Colorado
- Must have proficiency in legal research and writing
- Must possess empathy and a client-centered approach to legal practice
- Demonstrate Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrate Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to navigate new technology including AI and case management software
Compensation :
- $ 80,000 salary plus commission negotiable based on experience. Benefits :
