Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Redding, CT.
This temporary, full-time position provides the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic, social, and emotional development of students across multiple schools.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans and accommodations.
- Serve as a resource to staff regarding student behavior, learning, and mental health concerns.
Caseload / Job Details :
- Caseload : 15-20 students
- Age Group : Varies by school assignment
Qualifications :
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Current state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Connecticut.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
