Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist
Pay : $16.50 / hr.
Location : 2 Tesseneer Drive, Highland Heights, KY, 41076
Type : 6-month contract. If you do a good job, you’ll convert to full-time.
Number of openings : 10
Available Shifts :
- 1st shift 9 : 00am 5 : 30pm, Tuesday Saturday (6 positions available)
- 2nd shift 4 : 30pm 1 : 00am, Tuesday Saturday (4 positions available) (training during 1st shift)
This is an entry-level job with a pharmaceutical research company in Highland Heights, KY. No experience is required. This company researches and designs new medications.
In this role, you'll help different parts of the company with data collection and tracking and work closely with investigator sites to fix data issues and answer study questions.
You'll make sure protocols are followed on time and that specimen records are accurate. You'll also use tools to keep data reliable and call investigator sites when there are important alerts or values.
Essential Functions :
- Acts as main contact for sites and monitors by email or phone, handling data complaints, issues, and questions.
- Makes sure sites understand protocol details and helps with preparing samples for analysis.
- Sorts calls, fixes data problems quickly to keep data accurate.
- Tells sites about critical data values right away and raises urgent issues.
- Reviews extra test requests, fixes sample and form issues.
- Updates patient info in the site’s database.
- Goes to study meetings to check risks and help make forms.
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No former experience required; though, the ability to use a computer is important.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Accurate data entry and basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office is helpful.
- Effective communication and phone skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Detail orientation.
