Responsibilities :

Under the direction of the CEO, provides advanced government and public relations work. Plans, develops, coordinates, and implements the agency’s marketing and public relations programs and activities in support of the agency's mission, vision, and outreach goals.

Assists in the development, implementation, and support of Workforce Solutions and acts, as necessary, as the agency liaison with local government chambers of commerce, economic and trade organizations, and other agencies to promote workforce initiatives.

Research best practices in workforce development marketing and public relations from throughout the country; recommends new and innovative approaches.

Exercises discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance as related to the general business operations of the agency.

Performs other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field, required.
  • 5 years of related experience required. Work with public or non-profit organizations preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge and expertise in marketing and public relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in writing, editing, speaking, and listening.
  • Ability to function effectively individually and as a member of a team.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
