Physical Therapy physician employment in New York : A health services network in New York City is looking to add a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their Rehab team at one of their acute care facilities in Brooklyn.
Responsibilities : *ThePhysical Therapist (PT) will : * Assess, re-assess, andtreatpatients in assigned areas, with maintenance of all records pertinent to treatment* Evaluatepatients assigned for treatment* Completethe initial evaluation and report* Maintainrecords of patients progress and renders written reports at established intervals* Establishand maintaintreatment schedule for assigned patients;
attendconferences, meetings and program rounds* Consultwith medical staff regarding recommended therapy services, attend evaluation conferences and makerounds to discuss progress of patients and problems relating to therapy* Requestequipment and supplies and maintaininventory of patient care related items and department supplies* Preparesummaries of patients status for presentation at appropriate conferences and meetings.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-services, educational programs and other activities* Performother duties, as needed*Qualifications 1+ yearof Physical Therapy experience* Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy* NYS Physical Therapist (PT) license* Experience with Rehabilitation Medicine*Desired Skills : BLS certification Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w / o US residency with current US work visa.
