Install and repair machines and accessories at customer site. Provide technical information on operation or repair of machines and accessories.

Scope and Responsibilities :
- Proactively attain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Install machines and accessories at customer sites, including all necessary assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating, and wiring.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software problems on machines and accessories at customer sites.
- Test operation of machines and accessories after completing installation or repair.
- Train customers on functions of the machines.
- Learn new machine features and accessories as they become available.
- Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of reported problems, repairs completed, and parts installed.
- Travel is required; assignments may require overnight or multiple-night stays.
- Utilize various test equipment for troubleshooting purposes, including indicators, test bars, clamp force, gages, etc.
Education / Certification :
- 2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly.
- 3-7 years of experience in Field Service.
- High School Diploma.
Skills :
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Ability to work independently or in a group while completing necessary tasks.
- Ability to understand PLC and HYD / Pneumatic circuits.
- General computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive daily basis; heavier lifting in excess of 50 lbs on a periodic basis.
- Ability to problem-solve depending on the situation.
- Sound writing and reporting skills.
- Strong people skills.
