Responsibilities
The Senior Director of IT will :
- Develop, manage, and evolve IT strategy
- Assess and develop a 5 year IT roadmap for the enterprise, including all application and infrastructure supporting the growth of the business
- Oversee annual IT budgeting and quarterly forecasting through portfolio prioritization, sourcing planning, financial planning, technical strategies and roadmap development
- Oversee IT supplier selection, sourcing and vendor management
- Manage vendor relationships, vendor / platform technology selection and overall supplier performance (KPIs) & reporting
- Serve as a business partner to the CFO and the executive team on all matters related to IT and provide advice and input to drive forward the Corporate Strategy
- Provide leadership, mentorship and coaching to direct reports that fosters an environment of problem solving and improved IT practices and attracts and retains IT talent
- Ensure deployment readiness through development of business continuity plans and performance of external system audits
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of experience in the Biotech and / or Pharma industry
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience managing IT in a regulated environment (e.g. SOX, GxP, GDPR, etc.)
- Solid experience negotiating IT Based contracts, including licensing, terms, key performance indicators, etc.
- Experience configuring and managing IT Based solutions including but not limited to Azure, Microsoft O365, Intune / Autopilot, Teams / SharePoint, Egnyte, KnowBe4 and PowerBI
- Experience administering and managing business-based solutions, including but not limited to Concur, Sage (Intacct Financials), Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM
- Broad experience with applications initiatives, including; ERP upgrades, implementation, and solution delivery
Desired Skills :
- 3+ years of experience in a Senior IT role at a Biotech company
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
