Plumbing Service Technician

General Job Description

IES Residential is currently seeking Plumbing Service Technician to join a winning team.

• Commission and document new water heaters and plumbing systems.
• Be familiar with water, drain, gas piping materials and techniques
• Diagnose, repair, and replace plumbing systems and equipment to the highest possible standard.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Providing a top-notch customer experience and effectively communicating to homeowners and builders.
• Interact with superintendent to define commission and warranty repair schedule. Maintain working relationship to promote quality of work and scheduling efficiency.
• Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of all services performed.
• Clearly communicates with the superintendent by giving essential recommendations regarding customer claim issues.
• Assist in the in-field training of new technicians.

USD $25.00 / Hr.

Specific Qualifications

• Experience in New Construction Residential preferred
• Journeyman license preferred
• 2 years of plumbing experience preferred (at least 2 of those in residential service / repair)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Have high school diploma or GED
• Bilingual is a plus
• Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements
• Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds
• Willing to travel to required job site
