About This Role

Writer is seeking a talented Fullstack Engineer with Python and React experience to join our dynamic team and contribute to our groundbreaking projects in the enterprise generative AI space.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal tools and AI applications that are essential to our day-to-day operations.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and create solutions that streamline processes and enhance productivity.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including Python and React, in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and design user-friendly internal tools.
• Develop and maintain web applications using Python (FastAPI) and React, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Create and maintain robust APIs for seamless data communication between the frontend and backend.
• Design and implement database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following best coding practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and bottlenecks.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the tools and technologies used within the company.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver features and improvements on time.

Is this you?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of professional experience required (5+ years strongly preferred) with the following :
• Fullstack Software Engineer with expertise in Python, JavaScript, and React.
• Front-end frameworks (React and JavaScript)
• Backend web development using Python (FastAPI / Flask).
• RESTful API design and integration
• Database systems (SQL, NoSQL, Postgres).
• SDK tooling and / or AI SDK tooling
• BigQuery
• Demonstrating extreme ownership, and ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Bonus Skills and Experience :
• Scala and / or Functional Programming
• MobX
• GenAI, NLP, and SaaS
• Containerization (Docker)
• Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus.
• Start-up experience
