Bunzl is seeking a dynamic and experienced eCommerce Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion.

This role requires expertise in requirements gathering, cross-departmental collaboration, and a focus on delivering exceptional end-user experiences.

A background in digital marketing is a definite advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for eCommerce initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and features.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Track progress and prepare / update project status reports for all active projects.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and objectives. Conduct thorough requirements gathering to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with various departments including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to project execution.

Foster effective communication and collaboration between teams to optimize project workflows. Work with both internal and external customers to ensure project scope is delivered on time and with excellent results.

  • Focus on delivering outstanding end-user experiences by translating business requirements into user-centric solutions working with Product Owners, Data Engineers and Developers.
  • Plan and manage medium to large scale IT projects involving multiple systems and business teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement more efficient technologies and business processes.
  • Assess project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to apply where applicable.
  • Highlight process changes and provide input on potential impact to the organization and / or roles and lead People Change Management deliverables.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in eCommerce project management. Previous work in an eCommerce setting.
  • Strong project management skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in requirements gathering and translating business needs into actionable project plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and strategies is a definite plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (DevOps) and understanding of eCommerce platforms.
  • Project management certifications.
