Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage multiple medium level to large-scale projects / program in Agile / waterfall models in eCommerce / ERP.
  • Work effectively with IT stakeholders and business members, third party vendors, and senior management in accomplishing program objectives.
  • Translate generalized customer business goals and objectives into concrete strategy and tactical plans.
  • Work closely with the Business / Program Sponsor and Executive Management to facilitate the project decisions necessary for program delivery.
  • Drive the project / program for the success.
  • Resolve resource, budgeting and change requests affecting the eCommerce / ERP program.
  • Serves as a mentor / advisor / decision -maker to team and partner project managers for the program for issues related to relations, project quality, project risk, and safety
  • Oversee development of proposals and requests for proposals associated with the program.
  • Oversee vendor / partner relations and procurement related to the program
  • Propose and Draft project schedule, cut over plan for eCommerce / ERP rollouts
  • Lead daily scrum, weekly status calls with partners, Business on delivery
  • Define the scope, work packages for sprints with business, architects and execute sprints with proper demos, milestones
  • Execute projects with proper communication to business and technology stakeholders with weekly status reports
  • Work with IT Lead and key stakeholders on finalizing rollout strategy
  • Lead the gap analysis for any new market ERP / eCommerce and propose the rollout plan with proper capacity planning.

Position Requirements :

  • Understanding of the strategic and operational issues of the eCommerce / ERP rollouts.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and team and partner project managers in project management methodologies and the application.
  • Liaison and consultative skills; negotiating skills within a context of high sensitivity and conflicting interests.
  • Presentation and written communication skills, including proposal writing. o Ability to advise on complex matters to non-specialists.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing internal business and external customer expectations on program requirements and deliverables.
  • Highly developed business acumen.
  • Skilled at requirements analysis and management.
  • Strong writing, mentoring, negotiation, communication, and meeting facilitation skills; ability to utilize a combination of formal authority and persuasion skill sets.
  • Strong integration skills; ability to coordinate all aspects of a project or program.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage in a matrix environment.

Required Experience :

  • 10 to 15 years' project management experience with experience in large, complex projects and management of distributed project resource teams.
  • Must have held project management and / or leadership positions (reflecting increasing levels of responsibility) in an organization of comparable size.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams within a formalized methodology.
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS or related degree preferred.
  • PMP® or Agile project management certification preferred.
  • Must be comfortable with international travel 10% of the time.
