Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a Program Manager Safety and Health Management OCC001005 Engagement Team Project Manager Labor Category - High Level Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS : 541330 located CONUS supporting The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is an independent bureau of the U.

S. Department of the Treasury. The OCC charters, regulates, and supervises all national banks, federal savings associations, and federal branches and agencies of foreign banks.

We ensure that the banks we supervise operate in a safe and sound manner, provide fair access to financial services, treat customers fairly, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

The OCC receives no appropriations from Congress.

Seeking Project Manager (PM) (Key Personnel) candidates with with relevant Financial Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Financial Services Sector Clients such as OCC.

This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Safety and Health Management System Services (Project Manager (PM) (Key Personnel)) in the Financial Services Industry Sector focusing on Compliance Solutions for clients such as Department of the Treasury (USDT) Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Generally Located In CONUS.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Safety and Health Project Manager (PM)

  • Oversees the Safety and Health Analyst’s (SHA) reports and products to ensure that the safety and health products and services provided to the OCC are in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations as well as relevant ANSI and International consensus standard are met when applicable.
  • Track the OCC SHMS program progress and regularly report the status to the OCC COR, the Occupational Safety and Health Program Management Officer.
  • Manage all aspects of the Safety and Health training requirements including identifying appropriate safety training topics.
  • Report writing and development of recommendations for improvement. The support may also include the design, development and maintenance of databases, dashboards, and other tools as necessary.
  • Respond within five business day to all safety health issues / concerns / inquire from the COR, the Occupational Safety and Health Program Management Officer.
  • Development of marketing strategies to promote and / or re-brand the OS to include safety and health program along with other components of OS.
  • Meet with the responsible OCC Occupational Safety and Health Program Management Officer, delegate and / or COR, Contracting Officer or other at least on an annual basis, at specific times and locations to be determined by mutual agreement between the parties, to review and discuss strategic plan to continuously improve the OCC’s Comprehensive SHMS.

Qualifications

The Project Manager (PM) shall have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of managing a full range of safety and health responsibilities for a large organization with more than 1,000 employees.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

Undergraduate and Graduate Education : Major study safety or occupational health field (safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene) or degree in other related fields that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours of study from among the following (or closely related) disciplines : safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering, and industrial psychology.

Skills Required

Extensive Project Management Experience, Strong Educational Background, Regulatory Compliance and Standards Expertise, Data Management and Analytical Skills, and Communication and Marketing Skills

Competencies Required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
