Job Description : We are seeking a multi-family Construction Project Manager or Engineer to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting and construction.

Responsibilities : The Construction Project Manager / Engineer’s role is to assist with the planning, organization and management of the day-to-day operations, as well as any other responsibilities that the Project Manager and Senior Staff assigns accordingly.
Additional responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager / Engineer include :
- Assist the Operations Manager, the Project Manager, the Superintendents and Senior Staff
- Oversee certain aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Maintain and adhere to company standards of safety; ensuring that required documentation is filed
- Maintain and establish job processes (RFI’s, submittals, etc.)
- Supervise closeout process
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Qualifications & Requirements : To qualify for the Construction Project Manager / Engineer position you must have strong knowledge and background in mixed-use and multifamily luxury condominium construction.
You must have excellent verbal and management skills in order to prepare cost estimates for bidding purposes. Additional requirements of the Construction Project Manager / Engineer Project Manager include :
- Proven experience as construction project manager / engineer
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction multi-family projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project and strong computer skills with a variety of software packages; and familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results
- Working knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends
- Consistent attention to details with the ability to identify discrepancies
