Unique Skills :
Must be able to work 2nd shift andtrouble shoot voltage up to 3 phase 480 volts. Know PLC andDrives.
Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years experience workingwith electrical controls and mechanical applications in amanufacturing environment, to include experience working withaircraft related production, equipment in the aerospace industry.
2year technical degree may offset one year of experience.
PositionPurpose :
Under minimal supervisionprovides advanced experience with respect to electrical, hydraulic,mechanical, and pneumatic systems for troubleshooting, repairs,upgrades and preventative maintenance to all aircraft relatedproduction equipment. Job Description
Principle Duties andResponsibilities :
Essential Functions :
- Diagnoses cause of electrical and mechanical malfunctionor failure of operational equipment and apply corrective action toresolve re-occurring issues.
- Proactively conducts Preventive and PredictiveMaintenance inspections and performs required. duties in accordancewith recommended schedules.
- Performs repairs and corrective maintenance to equipmentwith a high degree of quality and reliability so that the equipmentis capable of operating within the required.specifications.
- Performssetup and calibrations on scheduled intervals for all aircraftrelated production equipment.
- Regularly performs backups of process parameters and PLCprograms for all equipment.
- Daily input of required. data in CMMS system for machinereliability and control.
- Ability to implement project objectives on key pieces of automatedequipment with minimal guidance.
- Recommends or initiates modification or replacement ofequipment components which fails to meet acceptable operatingstandards.
- Submits partsrequest on critical spares identified as non- stockitems.
Additional Functions :
- Interfaces daily with key Management andProduction personnel regarding all Automated Equipment..
- Assists withEngineering in all acceptance testing and training. .

Other Requirements :
- Ability to work any shift.
- Demonstrated working knowledge ofelectrical, mechanical, and controls aspects of factory automationsystems and the integration of devices used.
- Knowledge of Programmable LogicControllers (Allen Bradley & Siemens Controls preferred).
- Background in CNCEquipment (Mazak, Mori Seiki, Fryer, Alpha Harrison, Broetje, Kukapreferred).
- Backgroundin GSE Equipment (Hobart, Unitron, Tronair, Lektro Tug preferred).
- Must be able to readelectrical schematics and blue prints.
- Working knowledge of replacingspindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulicsrepairs, and precision machine alignments (Laser Alignmentexperience a plus).
- Experience in the alignment of turrets and the installation of ballscrews is a plus.
- Working knowledge of PC based Microsoft office. Experience withcomputerized maintenance management software relevant to spareparts management, work order creation, and Preventive Maintenancepreferred.
