Due to current and future growth opportunities, we are looking to expand our Team. We are currently interviewing for the position of Outside Sales Account Manager.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the entire sales process! The ideal candidate will have a true "sales hunter" mentality along with a history of account management and client relationship building.
Daily workflow will include cold call prospecting, in person meetings with prospective clients, account development, marketing, research, quoting and follow through.
You will work with suppliers, internal team members to ensure client projects are executed in a way that ensures quality and on-time delivery while pursuing new opportunities within the overall client base.
Compensation :
$65,000 Salary + Commission (1st year income range @ plan is $85,000)
Benefits : Paid Vacation (PTO plan) that escalates each year (year 1-5),

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years of direct Industry related account management and sales experience preferred but not required
- Experience with cold calling and development of new accounts is a MUST!
- 3+ years of prior Account Management experience required
- Demonstrate an ability to be imaginative, to think creatively (outside the box).
- Be competent and confident enough to communicate design process and elements in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be a true team player; personable, professional, flexible, with a high level of integrity.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time through multi-tasking and managing several projects at once. Must be flexible and work well
under pressure and easily adapt to change. Ability to keep composure in high stress situations.
- Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail that will impact profitability.
- Have a general knowledge of the sales process and familiarity with product pricing.
Responsibilities
Include the following, but are not limited to :
- Work with key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction
- Serve as primary day-to-day liaison with assigned clients and maintain positive ongoing relationships
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while interfacing with different internal and external contact
Daily Activities to include :
- Research and develop creative product recommendations and provide imaginative, high quality conceptual solutions for clients.
- Work directly with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery to
the client.
- Answer general support calls from clients and resolve any issues with little guidance.
- Take an active role in building the clients’ business, generating new strategies and proactively providing ideas to align with the client’s needs.
