QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for an Operations Research Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA to support our HQDA G-3 / 5 / 7 Support Services contract.

This position has a focus on Information Operations, specifically Publicly Available Information (PAI) and use of social media

Duties :

• Coordinate across Army, Joint and DoD staffs on the development of policy, programs and supporting efforts for the development of publishable policy (Army, Joint, and DoD).
• Participate at the action officer level in OSD and Joint Staff discussions regarding policy, guidance, and programs.
• Support development of Army policy and plans for operating in the information environment, consistent with OSD and Joint Staff policy and guidance.
• Assist the Government in developing written policy and coordinate it with appropriate staff.
• Review Army social media tools, policy, and doctrine for compliance with OSD and Joint Staff policy and guidance.
• Conduct studies and analyses of Army Special Operations, Joint and DoD social media policy, plans, training, and education.
• Assist the Government in establishing and monitoring processes for reviewing information proposed for dissemination
• Assist in coordinating, staffing and producing Army PAI Policy.
• Assist in coordinating, staffing, and producing Concept of Operations, Execution and FRAGOs
• Review social media tools, policy, and doctrine for compliance with OSD and Joint Staff policy and guidance.

Required Skills & Experience :

• Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work within Government-provided software packages with emphasis on MS Office products, for example, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
• Must be able to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication.
• Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
• Experience working in headquarters environments on the Army / Joint Staff and / or Major Army Commands.
• Proficient in planning and execution of working groups.
• Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to monitor database performance and maintain database operation.

Required Clearance :

ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED : Top Secret w / SCI eligibility

Qualifications :

• Master’s degree required.
• At least ten (10) years relevant experience.

Travel :

Less than 10 % travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Work Environment :

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. While not generally authorized, telework may be required due to exceptional circumstances (extreme weather, pandemic, etc.).

Physical demands of this position include ability to :

• Be independently mobile.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
• Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :

This is a full time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
