As a Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Occupational Therapists and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Your Role : Make an Impact!

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), you will :

  • Assist Occupational Therapists with client-related activities and delegated procedures.
  • Administer treatment programs in accordance with the Plan of Care.
  • Teach clients activities of daily living and provide training on the use of prosthetic devices and adaptive equipment.
  • Observe, record, and report client conditions and responses to treatment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications :

  • Current licensure in the State of Florida.
  • CPR, OSHA, HIV / AIDS, HIPAA, Alzheimer's, Medical Errors, and Domestic Violence certifications.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or challenging behaviors.
  • A valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 points in the last 3 years).

    • This role is patient-facing and requires participation in Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.

    Working Conditions

    This position involves working in a home health care setting, providing compassionate care to clients in their own environments.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Pay Range : $58,400 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
