Specialist (Project Manager)
San Antonio, TX
6-month contract with extension every 6 months
Best candidates will have experience within a Chemical plant, Oil & Gas refineries
Pay : $25-35 / hr W2
Required Education, knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Must have a BS in Engineering or BA in Business
Must have experience in MS Office Suite, Excel, MS Project experience is a big plus
Must be able to work and organize teams, process and develop administrative tasks
Must have management and task organization experience and the ability to learn quickly and be service oriented
1 plus years of experience in MS project is a MUST
Must be able to pass an MVR
Dress Code : Business Casual
Monday - Friday 8am - 5 pm (may have to come in early or stay late based of work load)
Job Description :
Provide overall project cost, schedule, estimating, progress measurement and change management for project life cycles. Understand scope, contract requirements and set priorities for the project team.
Lead costs and schedule tracking and estimates (projections) establish communication plans, follow up with resources and manage task schedules, look for process improvements n running the project, support lesson's learned documentation, administer project change control, monitor team performance and resource allocations.
