Job Description Summary

Clinical Research Nurse sought to coordinate and conduct clinical methodologies for a research center of Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva.

Plan, direct, or coordinate clinical research projects. Evaluate and analyze clinical data. Strong communication skills and ability to work with various departments, individuals and outside sponsors in a time sensitive manner.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop research protocols, CRF;s and regulatory documents
  • Conduct Phase I-IV clinical trials
  • Recruitment and screening of potential study participants, confirm patient eligibility
  • Assessment of patient medical history / consent of subjects using GCP guidelines
  • Oversee study drugs, monitor side effects
  • Coordination of laboratory and radiographic testing
  • Insert IVs, draw blood specimens and complete CRF'S, process and ship blood specimens
  • Preparation and management of regulatory documentation for IRB, CTRC and pharmaceutical sponsors
  • Participate in the conduct of audits by the Office of Human Research, study sponsors and the FDS
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree; Registered Nurse; licensure in Commonwealth of PA without restriction or limitation and one year of experience required; MSN preferred.
