Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and experienced Security Operations Coordinator to join our team. As the Security Operations Coordinator, you will assist with overseeing all security operations. You will help develop the company's security policies and procedures and supervise security personnel. You will be responsible for protecting the assets of the clients, employees and the company. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with demonstrated experience in the security, law enforcement, safety and security field. Must have 3+ years of proven experience in client relationships and have a high standard of confidentiality and integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, train, mentor and lead security personnel; assist with hiring security personnel
Develop and implement security and safety policies and procedures
Understand the security needs of the organization and implement Post Orders and protocols
Review daily reports and incident reports created by security personnel; write supervisor reports daily or as needed
Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches, incidents or other security related issues
Establish and maintain client relationships; assess the security implications and needs of client requests, and advise appropriate security solutions given the parameters of known client preferences, history of engagement with the client, and the security environment of each task
Develop overall strategy clients and coordinate with Security Operations Manager to ensure all functions required by clients are met
Develop standard operating procedures and profiles for assigned clients. Receive client feedback directly and incorporate changes to client portfolios in a timely manner
Conduct monthly inventory of security uniforms and equipment; ensure the maintenance of security vehicles
Provide excellent customer service to security personnel and clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a State of Texas Commissioned (Level III) security license or higher
At least 3 years experience as a Security Operations Coordinator or Supervisor and / or served in a similar role (i.e. law enforcement and military)
Have knowledge and understanding of security, law enforcement, and emergency laws, directives and protocols
Familiarity with security technology and equipment (cameras, alarms, etc.)
Experience with safety and emergency response planning and protocols; understanding of best practices in these areas
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and other computer applications with the ability to operate these programs
Completed supervisor or management training / courses and provide proper valid documentation
Excellent supervisory, management and leadership skills; detail-oriented and must have a flexible work schedule
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
This position requires up to 25% - 50% of travel
Must be eligible to work in the United States and the ability to read, write, understand and speak English, fluently
Must complete a background investigation, drug test and subject to an in-person interview
Completed an Associates degree or equivalent, (Bachelors degree preferred)
