KDG Construction Consulting is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources (HR) to lead and manage all facets of human resources functions and strategies.

This role involves overseeing key areas such as compensation, benefits, training and development, employee relations, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.

The Director of HR will ensure the alignment of HR programs and policies with the organization's (which includes multiple companies) mission, values, and business objectives, fostering a positive and engaged workforce.

The ideal candidate will stay current on federal, state, and out-of-state employment laws, ensuring compliance across different jurisdictions and advising both internal leadership and external clients on HR-related issues.

Responsibilities and Duties : Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy Maintain broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal, state, and out-of-state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs Collaborate with senior leadership to gain insight into the business objectives and strategies associated with employee relations, recruitment, retention, training programs, and company culture Administer human resources programs, including benefits, compensation, disciplinary issues, leave, the investigation into disputes and recognition, workplace health and safety, development and training, etc.

Develop, implement, improve and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization Nurture a positive working environment Implement and manage a performance appraisal system that promotes collaborative and high-performing teams Perform other duties, as directed Required Qualifications : A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in human resource management Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills People-focused and results-driven Demonstrable experience with HR metrics Knowledge of HR systems and databases Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices Anticipated Salary Range : $140,000.
