Our Dallas headquarters is seeking a skilled and motivated Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team of compassionate legal professionals.
Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to support our attorneys and help manage a high volume of personal injury cases.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to helping injured clients navigate the legal process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys with managing all phases of personal injury cases, including client intake, case development, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case arguments.
- Coordinate with medical providers and other experts to obtain necessary records and reports.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure that all case-related information is up to date.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and answer any questions.
- Prepare exhibits and materials for hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Schedule and manage appointments, depositions, and court dates for attorneys.
Qualifications :
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Paralegal Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in personal injury law.
- Familiarity with Texas personal injury law and court procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
