Since our inception in 1969, we have paired our expertise in emergency medicine with a strong culture focused on the success of our clinicians.

We are a democratically governed, independent physician group , with an ownership opportunity within two years of joining .

EPPA is currently staffing 7 Twin Cities metro hospitals, 1 central MN hospital, 5 regional / rural sites, and 3 Urgency Rooms (free-standing acute care clinics owned and operated by EPPA ) .

Patient volumes across all sites range from 9K-75K per year .

We are a collegial team and partner closely with colleagues across medicine in a multi-disciplinary team setting . We have long-term, stable partnerships with our health systems and the consulting physicians across our practices .

Must Haves From You

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree , required
• Board Eligible / Board Certified (BE / BC) in Emergency Medicine
• Current State of Minnesota MD or DO license and DEA , required
• Successful candidate s must submit to TB testing and any vaccinations recommended by OSHA Guidelines

Zone Detail s

This position will report to our HealthPartners Zone . We stagger what sites you cover depending on your tenure at EPPA .

We start everyone at our larger hospitals and then expand to regional and Urgency Room coverage as new hires feel comfortable .

You do not work at all sites and will work with zone leadership on which sites you will cover . Physicians in this zone will have the opportunity to work at the following facilities :
