Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on our diesel-powered trucks and heavy equipment.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of diesel engines and systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Perform engine overhauls, component replacements, and system upgrades as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in an industrial or recycling environment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
